With an average 15 years outdoors experience per staff instructor, Asian Detours' staff are cross-trained in several disciplines, enabling us to provide expertise in organizing interesting yet fun outdoor programs.

Our program design, philosophy and perspective to Outdoor Adventure Learning is what make our programs exceptional. We strongly believe that a well-planned adventure experience can also offer amazing opportunities for learning, discovery and personal development.

With the guidance of our professional instructors, one will find that the lessons learned while trekking in the rainforest, mastering scuba diving skills or working as a team in a sea kayaking expedition can be as meaningful, even more so, as those learned in the classroom at school.

Regardless of location or program focus, our programs are designed to maximize educational opportunities. In addition to the "hard skills" learned on a trip (scuba, rock climbing or sea kayaking) participants learn other less tangible skills that will influence and benefit them long after their program is over.

We have designed 1/2 day programs with weekends for students who are already taking the classroom courses of the summer school and want to supplement their summer with adventure experiences at the same time AND also the Full Day Programs for students who wish to go for a full-on Adventure this summer.
